S & C Thermofluids - Stobart Division require a skilled Machinist / Technician to join our small workshop in Redruth producing experimental research equipment and product prototypes primarily for the aerospace and defence industries.
The post would suit a versatile person with experience of manual turning and milling with the ability to work independently and take on a wide variety of machining tasks.
The candidate should have the ability to work both independently on specific projects and as part of a team assisting with all aspects of general engineering.
Skills and attributes
ESSENTIAL
- Must be mechanically inclined; turning, milling, use of hand tools
- Ability to multi-task and apply knowledge to new environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- UK National
DESIRABLE
- Interest in aerospace industry
Duration: Full-time, permanent contract
Salary: competitive, dependent upon experience and ability.
The role is available for an immediate start date.
